Senator Jeffries moved to amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

ARTICLE 3. PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF COMMUNICABLE AND OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES.

§16-3-4b. Required exemptions to compulsory immunization against COVID-19 as a condition of employment; effective date.

All citizens of the State of West Virginia shall enjoy all freedoms, rights, protections, and privileges granted to them pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act including, but not limited to, any and all religious and medical exemptions from all mandatory vaccination requirements imposed on any citizen of the State of West Virginia.
